This pack was printed in 1834 by Max Uffenheimer in Vienna. The maker's name is shown on the King of Spades, and the address on the Jack of Hearts. The name is also in the red stamp on the Ace of Hearts, together with a black tax stamp, both dated 1834.

The Ace of Hearts was on top of the pack, and that is the reason for the dirt on this card. The clean band is where a paper strip (which I have) went to hold the pack together.

This is an early version of the so-called 'large crown' Vienna pattern. It shows all characteristics of that pattern.
