These cards were published c. 1880 with the name (Fine Playing-Cards No. 3). In spite of this German name they were not made in Germany but in Belgium. The maker is most probably Brepols & Diercks Zoon in Turnhout.

The court cards show a pattern that has been used by several Belgian makers. In this pack there are views from Paris on the aces:
