Cartes Moyen-Age (Medieval Cards)

This pack was printed around 1880 by Daveluy in Brussels. The maker's name is on the Ace of Clubs.

It is a new version of a pack that was originally made around 1850, with changes in details, e. g. the crowns of the Kings and several background scenes. The cards were patented ('Cartes brevetées' on the Ace of Spades and 'Déposé aux termes de la loi' on the Ace of Diamonds).
