Trappola (Jemné Spady)

This pack of cards was produced c.1910 by Anton Kratochvil in Prague. His name is on the One of Clubs and on the Ten of Coins, there together with an Austrian tax stamp. The cards were called
Such cards were used for a game that is called Trappola in German. It was played in some regions of Germany, e.g. Silesia, and the neighbouring regions of the Austrian Empire.

The surprising matter is that the cards have Italian suit-signs, but were used far away from Italy. The pack consists of 36 cards, a King, a Cavalier, a Jack and the numerals from Ten to Seven, plus a Two and a One in each suit. In the illustrations below, the Ones are shown together with the court cards.
