These cards were hand made by an unknown artist, possibly around the 1930s. His initials 'JS' are on the Deuce of Acorns, and there is an 'S' on the Deuce of Hearts.

The cards show the standard Bohemian (or Prague) pattern. From the details on the cards I suspect that the artist had a similar printed pack available, and that would have been from Kartag (also Kartak) in Brno/Brünn, see the Deuces of Acorns and Hearts. That company produced from around 1920 until some time before WWII.

Note that the cards are much smaller than the usual Bohemian pattern cards, only 56 x 35 mm.
