These cards were printed in 1900 by F. A. Lattmann in Goslar. The logo of the maker is on the back.
The cards were designed by the painter Gustav Olms (1865 - 1927) from Düsseldorf for the 1900 Paris World Exposition. In the first edition there are background illustrations on the court cards.
In later editions these illustrations are left away, the court card designs have been minimally modified, and the ornaments on the Aces have been changed. Two cards each and the backs of two editions from around 1920 and around 1925 (this one with an advertising back) are shown in the bottom two rows.
