This is an advertising pack for the Demag company in Duisburg produced by Vereinigte Stralsunder Spielkartenfabriken around 1930. The V.S.S. name is on the Nine of Spades. The cards were designed by F. Buchholz, whose name is on the King of Spades.

On the box is a verse encouraging people to buy and use Demag products, then you will be safe for playing Skat in the evening:

The court cards show people with Demag products, and the pip cards show more products, with descriptions. The Aces of Clubs and Spades and the Ten of Spades additionally show people playing Skat.
