These children's cards were made around 1880 by Xaver Arnold in Neuburg/Donau. The maker's name is on the Seven of Hearts. On the Deuce of Hearts you can see 'deponirt', which means that Arnold has registered the pattern.

The deuces and court cards show the Bavarian pattern. The pip cards have special illustrations in many cases, and they show that these are children's cards. Note that the cards' size is only 36 x 27 mm.
