These cards were produced by "Karpalit" c. 1925 in Lwów (the German name was Lemberg). The maker's name is on the Deuce of Hearts, and again (together with the logo) on the Eight of Bells. On the latter card there is also a Polish tax stamp.
The pattern of these cards is a standard pattern called Lemberger pattern. In German these cards are usually called Mohrendeutsche because of the moors shown on several of the cards.
On the Deuce of Acorns you can find WYRÓB KRAJOWY / ROK ZALOZENIA - 1910. This means 'domestic production / founded in 1910'.
