This stamp was used in the Papal States presumably around 1800. I think that it shows the initials of the tax farmer.
The stamp was on the One of Clubs.

These stamps were used in the Papal States in 1827.
The first stamp shows the year. The 'A' at the bottom is for Rome.
On the middle stamp the text is 'CASE', and '(B),(3)',
showing that the cards were intended for private homes, and the value (3 Baiocchi).
The right stamp most probably shows the initials of the tax farmer.
The stamps were on the Ace of Spades.
